Iron-on-Iron (IOI)

A gathering of practitioners for mutual reporting, evaluating, and sharpening based on Proverbs 27.17, Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Here is a more complete description:

Iron-on-Iron is an interactive peer learning process in which several disciple-making movement practitioners, with the guidance of group facilitators, gather in small groups to openly share their strategy plan, ministry outcomes and the areas where they are stuck in getting to the next level in the pursuit of 4th generation reproducing movements. The process is designed for active disciple-makers who have started groups and/or simple churches with new disciples from the harvest using movement practices and principles. The primary aim is to give and receive encouragement and constructive feedback to achieve the multiplication of disciples, leaders and simple churches and increased ministry effectiveness. The process concludes with developing clear action steps which are reviewed with the group who can provide feedback. The Iron-on-Iron process has been utilized all over the globe to effectively deepen and broaden ministry effectiveness through the sharpening and developing of leaders pursuing movements.  (Kevin W.)
