Instructions:

Teach the three-thirds AIM pattern along with the elements of each of the three thirds.

Then ask, "What are the elements of this pattern that people are likely to minimize or omit completely, because they don't have time or because they don't understand them?"  As people respond, circle the ones they share. Usually, they reveal the following:

• accountability
• vision casting
• practice
• plans/goals

These are actually the very elements that are crucial to multiplication!  They all have more to do with the future than the present, therefore they are often judged as being irrelevant.
